Called Crescent Cottages, these highly crafted units live more like Eureka Springs cabins in the woods. Designed by David W. McKee, Crescent Cottages are treehouses that blend 1900’s craftsman style design with modern design. Attuned to their natural surroundings, cottage windows frame perfectly composed pictures of the Ozark Mountain forest. Creating a Eureka Springs Treehouse feel, each unit is surrounded by walking trails, pristine woodlands and lots of wildlife. Natural wood and stone materials native to the Ozarks are in the cottages’ construction are highlighted by beautifully filtered light in every room.
Architectural elements are reminiscent of the famous Thorncrown Chapel and that is no accident. Architect David W. McKee studied with Maurice Jennings and apprenticed under E. Fay Jones, the architect for Thorncrown Chapel. Crescent Cottages are a culmination of fine architectural design and vision of the late Martin Roenigk.
The Cottages’ 2 bedroom layout is perfect for couples traveling together. The privacy and location accommodates girlfriend getaways, guests traveling for a wedding or the spa. The Treetop Cottage and Trailside Cottage are both 2 bedroom luxury units that feature beautiful design, custom woodwork, bamboo flooring, private decks, full kitchens, whirlpool tubs, shared amenities and more.
